Understanding the filtering options to use in your search criteria

The search filters can be used in conjunction with a key word in the search field or on their own. More than one search criteria can be selected in a search.

Sector: Filter by one or multiple the GICS sectors.

Rating: If you would like to only view Lonsec Approved securities, or any other rating, tick the appropriate box(es) in this section.

Risk Assessment: Restrict your search results based on Lonsec's risk rating. Risk rating categories range from Low to Speculative:  

  • Low - a low risk assessment indicates that a majority of the risks are rated as low and the overall risk score is below 34 which indicates strong credit quality.
  • Moderate - a moderate risk assessment indicates that a majority of the risks are rated as moderate and the overall risk score is between 35 and 50 which indicates good credit quality.
  • High - a high risk assessment indicates that a majority of the risks are rated as high and the overall risk score is between 51 and 69 which indicates low credit quality.
  • Speculative - a speculative risk assessment indicates that a majority of the risks are rated very high and that the overall risk score is between 70 and 80 which indicates the issue is below investment grade and has speculative qualities.

Issue Type: select a specific issue type from the drop down list

Distribution Type: select if you would prefer a floating or fixed distribution.

Cash Yield: enter the minimum cash yield as a percentage

Gross YTC: enter the minimum gross  as a percentage

Years to Call: enter the maximum years to call
