Rolling Upside Capture Ratio

A measure of a product's overall performance in the up markets. 
 
What does the chart show? 
The chart evaluates on a rolling basis how well a product or portfolio performed relative to the benchmark during periods (in months) when the benchmark produced positive returns.

How to interpret the chart 
An Upside Capture Ratio of more than one indicates that the product did better than the benchmark during an up-market, while a number of less than one suggests the product lagged the benchmark during an up-market. 
 
When to use the chart 
This chart is useful in assessing if the product is consistent in capturing outperformance relative to a benchmark during up-markets.
